A great little photography studio. The LED lights give enough light without casting harsh shadows. I already have a light booth but I wanted something small enough for macro photography. The is perfect – using the LED lights with off camera flash and a little bit of adjusting on white balance allows me to create some clean shots.
The selection of backdrops is a real boost and makes a change from the regular black and white. For the money it’s excellent value .

For the money this is a great piece of kit for macro photography. Other reviews have complained about the plug not being up to UK specs, but I did not receive a plug with my kit instead I received 2 USB cables for charging the lights. The ability to change background colours is a great boost to my photos, as with macro photography it does not always show the subject at its best with just a black or white background. All in all this is a great bit of kit at a very reasonable price. Well worth investing in this product if you enjoy macro photography on a budget.

With my brother and sister on a selling spree. This photo box has been real handy. The products they put up for sale stand out in the photos and look very professional, the item is the only thing you see not distraction from backgrounds. Especially great is the port directly above so you can take straight down photos rather than from the side. Also love the six background colours that come with it. My family loves it as they have sold all they have put up for sale!

The kit itself pretty decent and comes with a choice of white, blue, yellow, red and green backdrops. For people like me who just need a quick fix for online products without having to pay for expensive cameras or photography shoots then this is an absolute winner but I think a little photo-editing may help if you want a completely white background.

I’m not an experienced photographer but wanted something to use to photograph my craft items. Not wanting to spend a lot on something I couldn’t use properly, I opted for this portable light box.
It arrived promptly and in good condition. Assembly is awkward as the snaps are very stiff to click together. It lost points because of this, and the fact that the sides don’t fit flush therefore the box doesn’t go together properly. However, the two led strips are bright and work well. You need two usb plugs to use them as they require their own individual power supply. Unless you have a decent usb battery pack with two usb slots, you can’t use it ‘out in the field’ so to speak.
The added backdrop of different colours are a bonus and make your photographs look professional. I don’t think it would be too difficult to make and use your own as well.
To sum up, yes it has its faults but for the price it’s going to be a very useful and effective addition to my hobby.

The only thing not giving this a top star rating is that I need to buy a power source for the USB powered lights. It’s not mentioned in the blurb – and if it was I’d have bought it before the arrival of this lightbox – and this would have top stars.
The sturdy little lightbox arrived in perfect condition, along with its bag, 6 backgrounds and USB leads (x2) (as already mentioned you’ll need a power source to use them – either 2 USB Plugs or a power bank). It’s quick and easy to put together – although if you have trouble with your hands it might be a problem. Plus quick and easy to take down and store away.
Overall, I’m impressed with this little (20×2) Lightbox, and it’s well worth the price. So much so that I’m planning to get more products (at a later date) from this company.

The box comes flat and snaps together to form a cube. There are a number of colored back drops that can be a little bit fiddly to get into place but once its in there its not going to move around too much as you handle whatever item it is you are photographing with the light box.
This light box is fantastic for the price. The only thing I would change about it is to put some sort of filter over the lights as they are very strong and tend to blow out the colors in a photo. This can be fixed by putting a bit of tracing paper to help diffuse the light.
The Light box arrived quickly and was well packaged. would defiantly recommend this seller 🙂

Honestly I was just looking for a simple environment/kit to take professional product photos, and this product exceeded every expectation. It’s probably the easiest thing I’ve set up – you literally just clip the different side panels together, and you have the cube!
Best of all are the in-built lights (two light strips with just one usb to plug in). No other studio box I saw on Amazon had these in-built, and I’m glad I went for the one that did – the shots come out beautifully.
Also worth mentioning, it’s super easy to change the different coloured backdrops. It’s a simple matter of slotting them in and out of little hooks/clips at the top of the back inside-wall of the unit.
I suppose the most-important thing about a review is whether the reviewer would recommend it, in relation to both its quality and whether it’s worth the cost, and I can very confidently say: YES, 100%.
To the creators of the product: a huge thank-you for designing such a beautifully simple yet EXTREMELY effective unit!

This little photo box is great, very easy to use and I love the different backgrounds. I make jewellery and use the box for photos of my finished items. Since using the box my photos are much clearer as I get no glare of the silver.

First of all this seller is excellent. There was a minor issue with the order and he resolved it and had a new item sent all within 24 hours. Kinda boggles the mind how quick they can dispatch goods. Cannot speak more highly about their customer service. As for the product itself, it’s good for the price. Obviously your not gonna get a professional studio quality setup at this price bracket but this product is easy to assemble, comes with the accessories you need and the light is nice and bright. For metalic or shiny products I would recommend using one of the supplied coloured liners to kinda filter the led lights a little. The item is lightweight, very portable, and is exactly like the pictures. Does the job for taking pictures of my products in store and fits in my backpack so can travel with it with ease.

This is great for taking photographs of small things which is what I purchased it for. The LEDs incorporated in the light box provide sufficient light for most things so that no additional lighting or flash is needed. Six different colour backgrounds are provided and these are very simple to change. Photographs can be taken from the front or above from a hole provided in the top of the box. The box is simple to put together. I thought this was a bargain for the price and it encouraged me to find other things to photograph.

Wanted a little photo box to take pictures and to experiment. Love the fact it comes with a few colours for the background. Completely love this product. Has two lights and a hole in the top so you can get a different angle to take images with. All the images above were taken with a Sony NEX-5n using the Portable Photography Studio Kit. No Photoshop used just raw images directly from the camera.

If you’re looking to photograph small objects, then this kit should do the job. You get decent lighting from the led lights, and different coloured backdrops. It was simple to erect and easily put away in a small cloth bag that comes with it.

Great little light box, good for my handmade jewellery on Etsy . You can see the photos I took with this at ArtiSilva. Only problem was first one had a faulty usb lead . I returned it and reordered and this one is perfect.

Great light box. Ideal for photographing small to medium sized products.
It arrived quickly, well packaged, very easy to assemble, and very easy to use. You don’t even need a professional camera, a phone camera is all you need to take great product photos.
The only reason I have given it 4 stars, is the the black background which also comes it with, is highly reflective. Meaning all photos taken on a black background needed a bit of Photoshopping to reduce reflections.

PERFECT for Vintage Star Wars Collectors! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the item and the number of coloured backdrops included for the price. The two strips of LED lights are bright and give good coverage. It also has a handy bag to store everything. One small negative point is the poppers can be difficult to do up the first time; but on the other hand, this does mean it stays solid. Very good for the money.
